Terms of use
Last updated 18 October 2026
Cayenne helps you organise recipes, plan meals and make shopping lists. It will be free at launch.
The app licence
The app is licensed under Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement, unless a different licence is displayed on its App Store listing. This page explains practical use of Cayenne; it does not replace that licence or reduce your statutory consumer rights.
Your recipes and other people's work
You retain the rights you have in content you add. Only import, store or share material you are entitled to use. Access to a recipe on a website does not automatically give permission to republish its text or photography. Source websites may limit access or change their content.
Check before you cook
Imported and generated recipes can contain mistakes, including quantities, timings and ingredient substitutions. Check the result and use your judgement. Cayenne does not verify allergens or provide medical, dietary or food-safety advice. A timer is a convenience, not a substitute for checking food is cooked safely.
Availability
Features depend on compatible devices, supported operating systems and service availability. Apple Intelligence, iCloud and source websites are provided by other organisations and may be unavailable or change. Keep a separate copy of recipes you cannot afford to lose.
Reasonable use
Do not use the app or website unlawfully, infringe others' rights or attempt to disrupt their operation.
Changes and contact
Features and these terms may be updated as Cayenne develops. The version and date displayed here identify the current terms. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
